Former NE Superintendent Continues to Impact Education

Welcome to the CTS Team former Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Michael Montgomery!

Bringing nearly 40 years of K-12 experience, Michael has dedicated his life to improving educational facilities in order to create the best environments possible for students and faculty.

Michael graduated from Alma Public Schools in Nebraska before heading to Chandron State College, where he played linebacker for the football team.Michael went on to earn his Education Doctorate preceding his 37 years as a Principal and Superintendent for multiple Nebraska Public Schools, including Hay Springs, Ogallala, Fairbury, Hebron, Stella, and Leigh.  Concurrent with his time as an educator, Michael conducted 2 successful levy overrides that exceeded the levy limit by 30 cents, as well as paid off building bonds 5 years early, saving Leigh Community Schools $90,000 in interest payments.

During his successful career in education, Dr. Montgomery received several awards such as 'Teacher of the Year' and 'Who's Who Among America's Teachers'.  Following retirement, Michael has become an Educational Consultant for CTS Group where he continues his dedication to improving school district facilities.
